Those portions of the contract documents which define, set forth, or relate to: contract terminology; the rights and responsibilities of the contracting parties and of others involved in the work, 1; requirements for safety and for compliance with laws and regulations; general procedures for the orderly prosecution and management of the work; payments to the contractor; and similar provisions of a general, nontechnical nature.
